Your Pool Education Headquarters!We want our customers to have the knowledge to care for their own pool. Whether you’re your own pool boy or have a responsibility to maintain a pool for a community, we have the education program for you.
For our commercial customers, we offer the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) course from the National Swimming Pool Foundation. This course provides individuals the basic skills and knowledge in pool and spa chemistry and equipment operations. This course is great for those who may have their own pool business, maintain a community, apartment, or commercial pool.
For our residential customers, we offer Pool School. This is an on-site training specifically customized for your pool. From calculating the volume of the pool, which is the foundation for proper chemical maintenance, to operational instruction maintaining your specific pool equipment.
Additionally, we have pool calculators to help make proper chemical adjustments and a video series on pool chemistry and maintenance available for review anytime you need a refresher!
The CPO® Certification course is a detailed, 2-day, 16-hour class with an open book examination. It is the most recognized pool and spa certification in the United States and is sponsored by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance It is taught by Andy Hines who has more than 30 years of experience in the pool industry.
Hines Pool & Spa maintains a relationship with City and State health organizations in order to provide the most up to date information regarding residential and commercial pool safety regulations. From barrier codes to anti-entrapment, we can answer your questions and head you in the right direction.
All pools and spas need maintenance. We at Hines Pool & Spa are here to help you determine just what kind and amount of maintenance your pool or spa needs. Our handy calculators will take you to step by step how to figure out amounts of chemicals needed to keep your pool or spa crystal clean. All you need are the dimensions of your pool and spa.
Even if you have weekly pool service, we believe every homeowner should understand the basics of maintaining their pool. We offer a 1-2 hour customized training session at your home, on your pool deck, and working with your equipment. If you don’t already have one, we can also provide a test kit for use in ensuring your pool chemistry is kept at the correct levels.
