Hines Pool & Spa offers the Certified Pool Operators (CPO) course at least four times a year in the Austin area. A CPO is certified by the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF), a non-profit organization founded in 1964 to promote education and safety for pool and spa operator.A CPO has taken a detailed, 16 hour course and passed a written examination to prove that he or she has a thorough understanding of practical water chemistry as well as pool and spa operation.
The CPO designation is the most recognized pool and spa certification in the United States. It is required by many states, counties, and cities throughout the country. Many Insurance companies offer reduced liability rates to pools that have a CPO on staff.
Special sessions can be scheduled, give us a call for the requirements. The price for the 2 day English class is $275. The price for the 2 day Spanish class is $295 (the Spanish book and tests cost us more.)
Fee must be received no later than 1 week prior to class date. Late registration is available for an additional $40.
