What will my pool cost?

A new pool is a construction project with many variables. Your future pool is unique to your needs. Our estimation process includes a design made just for you at no cost or obligation. While we would love to give you a “ballpark” price over the phone, it isn’t possible since we have to see your backyard and talk to you about what the size and type of pool/spa that you want.

As you gather bids, you’ll find quite a range of pricing. Our price to you reflects a solid value. We build a quality product that is the result of decades of experience not only in renovating and building pools, but in repairing thousands of pools in Central Texas. We know what works and what doesn’t; much of our renovation work involves correcting serious problems of poorly built pools.

Hines Pool & Spa, Inc. has been in business in Austin since 1986 with one owner. That makes a difference if you ever need warranty work. We are the warranty station for everything we install on your pool.

Experience also matters when it comes to the design and equipment choices we make together in creating the best possible pool for you. Many builders, for example, push certain brands based on the discounts they get, not on whether that equipment is really the best choice for you. In over two decades in servicing pools, we’ve learned which pumps, heaters, and filters, etc., perform the best and last the longest. We also understand what it takes to design a pool that has good circulation and is easy to keep clean and inviting.

How long will it take to complete my pool? What is the process like?

Once you order your pool, it typically takes 30-45 days to complete, weather permitting. Depending on the complexity of your pool design and backyard, it may take a little longer, but we will tell you that before we begin.We don’t build a dozen pools at the same time. You will work with only one designer/manager the entire time we are building your pool. He will see to it that the work moves along smoothly. You will have his cell phone number and email to contact him anytime you have a question or concern.

What sort of follow-up do you provide for my newly built pool?

Hines Pool & Spa, Inc. will provide our full cleaning service for your new pool and spa for three months once it is complete at no charge. We don’t hire another pool company to do this. As Central Texas’ largest pool services company, your new pool will be off to a great start. During this three months, we’ll be glad to show you what to do should you decide to take over maintenance on your own. We build your pool to be as easy to maintain as possible.

What about warranties?

The pool shell and encased pipes and fixtures is warranted against cracking and leaks for as long as you own your pool. The plaster or other finish and tile and coping are warranted for two years against de-lamination.

All equipment is warranted by their manufactures for 1-3 years. Hines is the warranty provider for everything we sell.Some restrictions apply. See our contract for details.
